Hey, I was with a guy on Saturday night that I had liked since meeting him the previous weekend. He is the cousin of a friend of mine.
I didn't get his number but was wondering would it be ok to send him a message on facebook. I would keep it casual.
The thing is I'm Irish and he's Dutch and his English isn't great so there's a language barrier too.
What do you think I should say in the message? Or should I say anthing at all?
    Appreciate all advice!

Sure why not, just keep it simple, "hey hows it going" etc.. no need for an essay he wont be marking you out of 10 for grammar and use of paragraph's .. just yet .

Given how machine translation works, what you say might be very surprising indeed!

Be careful. I've had reason to translate Dutch using Google and to be honest it looked like gobbledygook in places.

I explained in the message in Dutch that I hoped it made sense because I have found that problem before.
Well as long as he replies that's all that matters!
