UPC connection in attic

I have new coax cables running from a number of rooms to my attic but not connected to the UPC point on the outside. Will UPC come out and make this connection ? Presumably there's a one off charge ? Is there also a recurring charge ?

monthly UPC fee, with regards connecting to your internal system they may not. they might terminate a point inside the attic for you and you have to connect your setup to the point.

this is a more likely scenario.

I had the same situation and they connected them for me, without any hassle.

+1 On the initial connection and again 20 years later when they replaced the external cable.

They also run totally new cables if you use their broadband and run 2 cables for multiroom.

Hi, did you pull your own coax up to the attic?

UPC are looking for €60 per termination and €5 per room monthly charge from me? Can you advise?

    Thanks.

OP here. Got it sorted last week. My own coax went to the attic. Upc connected the last few feet to the external cable. They connected a UPC wall box to the cable in each room. No fee was mentioned. They wrongly sent out a broadband engineer, who organised an installation engineer an hour later. Maybe something fell through the cracks on the charge. I'm already paying 5 per month for multiroom boxes so maybe I just missed out on the installation fee.
