drontal+ is the one but dose them again in 9 days time as the dose wont kill the egs from worms when u dose them after 9 days it kills the rest my 2 cents anyway

I use the stuff for cattle; we have a load of it here for the cattle so I use it away. I asked the vet what dose I should give and he said to give the same amount per kg as a calf. For a 30 kg dog I think it works out at about 15 c so just ask any farmers you're friendly with for some.

Curazole (same as parazole, but for sheep and lots cheaper) alternated with Drontal +

I use a mixture. I try to rotate it between FEN-BEN 10 which is an oral cattle drench, it's dosed at 1ml per 10kg, I think a litre is around €25 so if you have a few dogs it will last ages.

Ivermectin injection which is dosed at 1ml per 50kg. The beauty about this is that it will do external parasites too. A 50ml bottle is around €14. (note It can't be given to collie's)

Or Drontal (or Cazitel, which is the Pfizer version of drontal) The only down side to the drontal is that it's 1 per 10kg & it can be €3 or €4 a tablet. If like me you have a few dogs it could cost a small fortune to dose all the dogs in one whip.

Don't use it if it does fluke aswell. Flukacides can be extremely harsh on the stomach & could scour your dog alot.

Ivermectin effects the nervous system of collie's.

just finished giving my dog a 6 month course of invermectin. He had mites affecting his skin. pretty horrible skin condition, but the invermectin was brilliant in clearing it up. the vet said if he had any collie blood in him he could drop dead from it! I'd have good faith in it to be a good worm dose seeing the condition my fella is in now compared to the well shook fella he was six months ago!
