I've been getting worried about the negative feedback going around. Bad spawns, small maps, lag.

Please, let's start with the positives! Picking this up on the 13th and want something to look forward to.

I'm sticking to zombies for the first month. MP on blops was awful at launch.

i had it on pc(and a good one at that) and had to go in and **** around with ini files just to get it too play right...always normally leave it a week or 2 before buying any cod

Online with PC, played a few games of MP

Maps are varied, very good.
Weapons are ok too, though the SMG is a bit too accurate, no recoil.
Killstreaks are there, but no in the form of kills..its points..and some of the unlocks are crazy as always.

The 2nd sniper rifle is ridiculous, I was going around 1 shotting everything. It's basically a 50cal, you nearly unlock it immediately, so everyone will be using it I reckon.

I hate Black Ops online and MW2, didn't even buy MW3....so I'm actually pleasantly suprised and impressed with this so far

On PC, runs perfect so far, set my FPS cap to 125 max, and its hittin 125 all the time, so I without problems.

PC also comes with the option of a FPS display ingame, which is excellent !

Couldn't see a setting for FOV though - and some of the controls are a bit stupid. Mouse Wheel to switch weapons ...as opposed to 1 - weapons slot 1, 2 - weapons slot 2 like every other game ever released

Edit : there is a FOV setting, only goes to 80, hopefully we can edit this in console

Nice, removed all my weapons to get extra perks and know I'm bombing around maps with just me knife and a stun grenade. Even won a Free For All with it.

So far so good from me. Running really smoothly atm, can see some of these kill streaks being OP.. like that new mortar thing you start with is pretty insane.... Have only used a few of the guns so far but i like the ones i've tried... will get a good go tomorrow and Wednesday.

Yep, pretty useful if you have secondaries you never use too.

nuketown 2025 is class, some of the new maps are really good, grenades actually sound like grenades now. Its all chaotic at the mo but its to be expected, getting shot from places you didnt know existed etc. being able to remote control sentries is cool, that lightning strike streak is crazy overpowered though, its basically an airtsrike but it happens so fast youve no time to react, got a quad on nukedown with one.

Beast of a weapon, tough to get big scores as the game is a bit hectic at the moment. Basically a one shot kill every time with it though

the Intervention style one? it'll be the sniper rifle of choice methinks. havent been sniped much at all so far but its early days, Nuketown 2025 is a seriously easy way of racking up xp, went 48-23 or something on a demo game earlier, loads of unlocks and rewards and shot through a few levels.

Yup, drop your secondary weapon and maybe your lethal option and select a wildcard, e.g an third attachment for the gun

Fingers crossed so far, but COD hasn't run this smoothly for me in years. It actually reminds me of RAGE a bit in how well it plays.

Whether it will hold up though and get abused by certain players remains to be seen.

Yeah, the intervention like one. I don't think quickscoping is easy with it though, takes a little longer for the gun to aim. I didn't get the pre-order copy myself, I got the standard copy last Friday so no Nuketown Hopefully it'll be available soon for DL.

Nuketown 24/7, the only option at the moment is 'Moshpit' which is a mixture of a number of gametypes.

All the launch copies should come with it though, i didnt preorder and it was with mine, just walked in and bought it

Vector with laser sight +suppressor is a fun little combo. I love how you can remove grenades and tac equipment for extra perks and attachments.

Lads - 2 questions!

1) Is the leveling system on BO2 like the MW series (gradual unlocking of stuff) or like BO1 (can buy any perk/gun straight away)?

2) What is the net code like so far? BO was absolutely unplayable for ages after release and probably the reason I didn't really play it much.

like MW, however u get unlock token for perks as you level up also, there is still a level barrier for them though. so u gott get to the level then use an unlock token to unlock them

So far so good , I'm enjoying it despite feeling a little burnt out on COD this last 6 or so months . Its really fast paced , has a bit of a feeding frenzy buzz about it at the mo , no doubt things will settle down a little over the next few weeks . Loving the score system , I'm a big fan of DOM and you get rewarded properly for capping/defending flags or just being a team player in general .

Most people probably don't care but I'm one of those people who buys COD for the campaign and not really the multiplayer, but usually it's money well spent on a rolllercoaster ride from start to finish. Only played a single mission so far, and while it's a bit early to call, so far it's absolutely awesome.
