First of all are TT bikes suitable for normal road use, ie leisure, training, sportives? I realise that handlebars, shifters/brakes need to be changed but what else? Many of the TT bikes i've seen by felt/focus/scott etc etc come in far nicer colour schemes/designs than the road bikes by the same companies and they seem cheaper to buy than road bikes (2nd hand) so is it possible t convert them and is it worth it?

The frame is designed to be aggressive and "aero" and suitable for shorter distances, ie, not very comfortable.

I doubt you could make it very comfortable at all to be honest.
