tevion Gamepad & windows 7

Not sure if this is the correct location for this? Have a Tevion Potent Pad (Gamepad) which I am trying to use with a Windows 7 laptop. The driver was installed, and the test shows the pad is operating properly, but I cannot get it to work inside any game. what's wrong with it? Thanks.
