Building leg strength/power in-season?

I'm currently trying to get my squat to 2x Bodyweight and Deadlift to 2.5x Bodyweight. I remember seeing Will recommend these as good targets to strive for as athletes. I'm a big believer in the carry-over effect of strength training into sports so I'm reluctant to put my lifting on hold while I train and play matches during the season.

At the moment I'm following Eric Cressey's Maximum Strength program which is really designed for the off-season. It's a great program but it leaves me wrecked for playing football. I play 1 match a week and train MMA 3-4 times a week. Could anyone recommend a routine I could do once a week to continue increasing strength/power whilst minimizing fatigue for my sports? I play matches on Wednesday nights, so I would do the lower body workout on Thursday, and have Friday, Sat and Sun for recovery. I can continue to follow the Upper Body workout from the Cressey program, they don't interfere with my sporting performance much at all.
