Mounting a Convector Heater Above Socket

    Is it safe enough to do this, mounting a convector heater on the wall and it plugged into a socket below it.

    Would 6" be enough to allow between bottom of heater and top of socket.

    So long as there's nothing around it that can easily catch fire. Curtains, chairs, plants etc...
