Pajero 3.2 di-d 4wd warning light.

    After driving little while 2wd mode 4wd warning light comes up ( yellow light -middle- starts flashing)
    Stopped car. Switched off engine. Started engine. All good again for a day or two.
    I know it is common problem with pajeros. Sensors or something..

    What Will Happen If You Ignore The "4wd warning " Message? 

    I drive mostly 2wd anyway. Not really need 4wd.

    Would it damage something and needs to be fixed or Im good to go?
