    Hi

I know nothing about the wii but trying to suss out what I would need and the cost for a start up kit with a few girly games / sports / music. I have looked at some 2nd hand on ebay etc but I have no idea what I actually need between wheels and remotes, nunchios (??) etc, so concerned I could buy the wrong thing. Any guidance would be great.

    Thanks.

If its just the 2 of them playing you need 2 Wii Motes and 2 Nunchuks. Maybe another wii mote or 2 if you want the family to join in, most lighter type games often don't require nunchuks.

The wheel is optional, I hate using it anyway! Might be easier for younger kids if they are playing Mario Kart, which is a really fun game!

One expensive accessory is the U-Draw, but is great for kids and has some friendly games with it, have a look into it!

Some other games they might like
    • Any of the Just Dance Series
    • Wario Ware Smooth Moves
    • Wii Play
    • Wii Sports (Often comes with the console)
    • Drawn to Life
    • Animal Crossing

Have a look on donedeal, there's Wii's going for very cheap. You'll need the Wii system itself, 2 controllers with 2 nunchuck controllers. The wheel only works on some games like Mario Kart so you might not need it depending on what games you get. I've seen a few deals on donedeal for €60-€80 for all of these and a few games as well. Don't pay anything over this. The new Wii, the Wii U is out at the end of this month I think so a lot of people will be trying to get rid of their old Wii's.

Thank for the advice - appreciate it. What is a nunchuk and what is it for?

    Tks

For the wii, the nunchuk is basically a control stick, along with a few buttons.
