Hello I am looking for a place in dublin that sells wax that is used to seal envelopes...

    For wedding invites..

You burn the red wax on the paper and make a stamp.

AFAIK we got ours on amazon and used a glue gun to heat it then stamped away. The stamping was great fun!

I honestly thought that it was just a case of holding a red candle on its side so that the wax drips onto the paper to seal it. Then something like a sovereign ring pressed against it to leave the marking in the wax.

Candle would peel off, and it would not be very red. You need Sealing wax - that is what it is called, comes in a kind of square edged stick.

This is why we used the glue gun!
