Isover Air Tight Multi Tape - Feedback?

    Hi all,

I have read about Isover Air Tight Multi Tape in the paper recently and im thinking about buying some for around our windows before the harsh winter sets in.

We are also going to use it in our converted attic around our storage doors (on low knee walls into small uninsulated storage spaces).

However i have read on another thread that there is difficultly in removing this tape. Is it designed to last for 60 years? We dont want to completely shut off our storage spaces forever by using this tape.

Before we buy some, we would like to know if anybody else has bought and used this product? Are there any downsides to using it?

How effective is Isover Air Tight Multi Tape for draughts around windows and doors? Any feedback would be great!

    Thanks

    Christina

All "air tightness" tapes are designed to be used during construction and therefore should last a long time. They are not suitable to temporarily seal an opening as you wont easily remove them without damaging the surface.

Can you paint over the tape, will they take eggshell, matt paint?
