Garnier Olia 10.0 Very Light Blonde Mishap

I currently have ombre hair. My own hair is dark brunette, then it graduates to very light blonde at the ends. I bleached it myself. It needed a little bit pick me up. So I tried Garnier Olia today, as I've heard good things about it (no ammonia, containing oils, etc.)

I started applying and everything was going well. First of all, it doesn't smell (I know: a miracle!). It is very easy to use. I followed the instructions provided. When I was rinsing, my hair felt quite soft. But then I realised that my hair went DARKER! And not just a tiny bit, a proper one shade darker! So now, my ends are a light brown colour. My question is: what the hell?

EDIT: OK, the colour seems to develop a bit more overnight. It is still darker than it was. But it is not one shade darker any more, but more like half a shade darker. I actually quite like it. But it is still a bit off that it went darker than it should be.
