Problem loading Windows 7.

    HDD died on this pc, so I got a new one.
    Athlon XII CPU and 2GB RAM.
    It passes all the tests for Windows 7 compatibility.

    Everything goes fine until after the final restart.

    First boot priority is set to HDD. There's only one attached.

    Then it's just "Verifying DMI pool data......................" and that's as far as it gets.

    Is Windows 7 installed on the hard disk? If it is look for AHCI/SATA settings under the bios and change to IDE/Legacy mode, see if it helps

    Yeah

    Try swich to AHCI/SATA in the BIOS like yoyo said

    OR if it like mine IDE/RAID (i have sata but i select IDE to make it work)
