A few shocks, but thankfully never electrocuted. ( I would be dead if that happened. )

I see what you did there

From a socket when I was very small. Apparently I complained I had heard a loud bang inside my head and had to lie down for the day. Doctor said that some people who hear that bang don't wake up after it because it's the sound of the circuit closing. Thankfully the trip switch saved me xD

    No, still sucking air.

Minor electric shocks maybe, but nothing significant as far as I recall.

Sorry to hear that man, if people take one thing from this thread let it be that electricity (although something which surrounds us every second of every day) can potentially be lethal. I only got a small shock today but it knocked me down for around 5 minutes.

    I did but:

Oh I, oh, I'm still alive
    Hey, I, I, oh, I'm still alive
Hey I, oh, I'm still alive
    Hey...oh...

Probably had more than 30 shocks to date. Puts me in fierce bad humour.

    Ive been shocked twice!

When I was very small my sister told me to stick a hanger in the socket. I don't really remember if it hurt or anything tho.

The other one was is a bit embarrassing cause I was about 14 and was a stupid thing to do. I was putting a plug on something and wanted to make sure I had it all wired up right before screwing the front of the plug back on so I went ahead without thinking and plugged it in with the front off. I got a nasty shock off of that I have to say. thinking now I think I might have been lucky I wasn't more seriously hurt

No, and neither have any of you.

Electrocution is death caused by electric shock.

Struck by lightning through a plate glass window?

I got a shock once that lasted about 3-5 seconds off a small portable electric heater when I was about 13. I remember at the time nobody in the room noticed what had happened, and it was by no means serious, but I remember being horrified by how it feeling felt. Can't imagine experiencing a larger shock. It really is a frightening experience.

Electrocuted no because well im writing this aren't I. I have got bad shocks though as in 220v a few times (sparky by trade lol). One time I was doing a job of rewiring a garage. I turned off the power coming from the house and cut the wire connecting the house and garage and bang. Your one in the house reset the mcb while I was outside. That one really hurt. Another time I had a washing machine stripped down on the bench in the workshop trying to find a fault (had it plugged in) and one of the lads threw a screw driver into it for the crack. It happened to cross a capacitor which was interesting to say the least lol. Funniest/stupidest one I was involved in though was when I was an apprentice and we got our mitts on a veritable transformer and decided to see who could hold onto the terminals for the highest rating. I got to 90% but one of the lads got to 94%. That one didn't hurt but it was the strangest feeling ever............obviously I wouldn't recommend doing it though lol

Electric fence happened me too you go out, for a bit of a buzz and don't come home dissapointed. Beats buckshot in the rump I suppose

For true fun with electricity, you need to play with a megger - tradie lads will know what one is, for others, it's a yoke for testing the integrity of a system by overloading it massively, but briefly (basically) OR, it's like a little electric shock machine with a huge output - connect it to somthing metallic, get victim to pick up said item and hit the button - cue many hours of fun recounting just how high the victim managed to jump from a standing start:D Probably best not to overdo it as it can lead to an ache in the testicles - mainly when the victim gets huffy after shock 3 or 4 and kicks you in the rocks..

Did that thing when you're putting in a plug and somehow manage to touch one of the live bottom two prongs as you put it into the wall. No idea what voltage of a show that would be but it felt like I'd been bitten.

When I was about 6 I removed the lead from a stereo or some such device, plugged it in, switched on the plug and stuck the other end in my mouth! :pac:

Saw a bluey / green flash, heard a weird noise and it was like someone punching me in the face!

As a child I bit into an electrical cord. The wiring in the house at the time dated back to the 40's, and it didn't trip the breaker before I was allowed a healthy dose. My lips are a tad fatter than they probably should be, and I have some discoloration. The worst part is that ever since the incident, I can now see about one second into the future. It's the worst super power ever. It's like DeJaVu 24/7. The most confusing part is when I know I am going to have DeJaVu.

I wasn't electrocuted but did get a few proper shocks alright...

The best was re wiring a house the other lad was doing the board and I asked him 3 times was it off sure it is just do what your at then of course big bang and sore fingers 4 a while ;-)

Only by an electric fence but when i was only 10-12 there's was a tiny hole above the socket in me and my brothers bedroom, and when we did something wrong we were put in our room for the day so me and my brother used to p!ss into the small hole above the socket and cut out all the electricity in our house as punishment to our dad for sending us to our room.

He never found out why it kept happening and thankfully we weren't electrocuted.

Was trying to put a new bulb into a standard lamp one time and couldn't force the bulb in. I thought the lamp was plugged out and pressed the prongs down to see why the bulb wouldn't fit. The shock threw me on the floor and I was dazed for five minutes.
