Green Hobby & Model and only a couple of miles away, thanks.

Are these kind of engines money pits or are they reliable & worth fixing?

They were built from the 80's on so depending on how it was looked after it could be an easy fix or need a new engine and gearbox. Do you know what's wrong with it or when it was last used.

Don't know, it arrives tomorrow. Im fairly technical so Ill have a look at it tomorrow. Possibly starved of 2 stroke oil, does not run.

If it turns over and has good compression and goes in and out of gear every thing else is an easy fix:D

If you are fairly technical it should be no problem for you to get it going, they are quite basic to work on, if it has been laid up for more than a year the first thing to do is change the impeller before you start it as they can become brittle brake up and block the water flow.
