Hello! I would like to work as a videographer. Could someone help me where can I start? Someone is looking for an assistant or knows about videography courses?

It's a difficult business to start, as most of video/photographers are chosen by a word of mouth that has been passed to them. What's more, plenty of people can't tell the difference in quality and once they are in the movie it's brilliant even if its crap ;) The firs step I would suggest is building up a strong portfolio...

I know it's difficult to start and it's expensive. That's why I'm looking for someone who would need an assistant to gain experience. Learn how to get best shoots, any tricks with shooting and editing etc.

I'll suggest self education - Mascielli, Block, Matshwitz, Kramer are the guys to learn from!
