Hi ,I am renting a 7 bedroom house with a loft conversion which has two large bedrooms one with ensuite, the problem is that both bedrooms have a small door to the roof space on both sides of the rooms and they are just made of mdf and are hung with kitchen door hinges which have left a gap on the side they are hung to the frames i know this is a problem but what i would like to know is there is just a roll of fibreglass insulation between the joists, the walls have the same insulation but sheet of clear plastic covering it ,the lights are downlighters which when i put my hand against them i can feel a draught,i dont know much about building regs but is this enough insulation should there be any insulation on the rafters, i live in northern ireland
