(Not be confused with Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming (2012) which is also a remake of Silent Night, Bloody Night (1972)

This A loose remake of TriStar's 1984 film Silent Night, Deadly Night.

This trailer as came out really late, as this movie is coming out later this month in some place, I don't think will be everywhere.

It will also be on DVD early next month, according to some websites
Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King star as a small-town sheriff and deputy on the hunt for a murderous Santa Claus terrorizing their community on Christmas Eve. But with the streets full of Santas for the annual Christmas parade, the killer is hiding in plain sight. He’s made his list, checked it twice, and the naughty are going to pay with their lives.

Funny think about this that I saw `1984 one on the weekend. I really enjoyed, I not sure what to think of the trailer at the moment.

I'm actually quite optimistic for this, Miller is a damn fine film maker and his recent film The Aggression Scale is one of the years best. It's a rough and ready revenge film that's pretty much Home Alone with a body count. He has another film, Under the Be coming out soon which is like a classic 80s Amblin film and while it was made before Silent Night we won't see it till net year as there's plans for it to get a cinema release.

Silent Night is shaping up nicely, he has a fine cast and the script is supposed to be rather good. Trivia fans may like to know that msot of the characters are named for 70s Leeds United players.

I wouldn't waste my time with Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming if I was you. It look absolutely terrible, like something shot in the late 90s for pittance. The people behind it are trying to turn into the British The Asylum considering how all their upcoming films are rip offs of genre classics such as Night of the Living Dead and Amityville.

Maybe it's just me but the lack of snow in the traielr is really off putting. That and it all looks like a really bad student film shot over a weekend.
