Missing chrome lip from Alloy - any ideas?

I swapped some Alloys with a family member last year (old sets, for Winter tyres) and one of them was missing its chrome lip. The lip is (semi)removable and sits on the outside dish/lip of the wheels.
Its an Italia Riva AT 17", similar to these:

I couldnt find anywhere selling the chrome lip online and I think Italia went out of business. Any ideas on what to do to make these look the same?

Removing all 3 lips would be a massive pain as they are put on with some sort of hard glue, takes ages to clean off. :(

Some rims on the older yank stuff came with lips like that. Let me have a look online and see what I can find.

Aren't the lips an integral part of sealing the tyre onto the wheel ? wouldn't be a good idea to drive around without one.

No bother getting trim rings in 14/15" stuff for the yank tanks but not so much in 17's. What I did find isn't deep dish either. :(

Can you measure the dish Matt?

No, just a removable insert? Its like held on with glue! They dont touch the tyre or anything, just floating around the little dished part of the alloy.
Ill double check to abe 100% but from cleaning and painting them, they seem kinda cheaply "stuck on".

Ill have to check that out, dont have them here. Like all things chrome, popular with Yanks, some good photos here:

More googling brings up plenty of stuff like this:

Which of course are not suitable unless it's on this:

Oh right sorry i looked at the picture and assumed it was held on by the bolts.so there is an outer dish held on by the bolts and then a chrome lip?

Actually I strongly suspect the bolts are decoration and its not even a real 2piece rim. The lip is such sitting on the out "part" of the wheel, 2 piece or not.

Looks like you need to take the drum out of a washing machine and cut it down. :pac:

As you say Matt the yanks love their chrome. I reckon your best bet would be American performance or modified forums. Failing that try the googles again, e.g. 17 X 2.5 flat deep dish trim rings. ;)
