Qualifying comp's Cork area

    So just wondering does anyone know if any clubs in the "Greater Cork" area are still doing qualifying comp's, I know we had qualifying in Blarney on Sunday morning but I reckon that was the end of it, feel confident there is a cut coming :D

    I know mallow are still doing 18 hole open comps on weds. Would be worth ringing to see if they are qualifying.

    Castlemartyr would be a good bet i'd say, usually dry there

    Blarney Open is qualifying today aswell just rang them, kinda looking for something for the weekend though!

    Blarney is very dry at the moment, fairways are excellent. Might get another couple of weeks out of it depending on the weather

    Just called castlemartyr there Tuesday comps are still qualifying and the pro said they try and keep them qualifying all year round.

    Looking at for something at weekend too...Mitchelstown have an open weekend but don't know whether it's qualifying. Looking at their results from last weekend, there doesn't appear to be CSS.

    A friend rang Castlemartyr and their Tuesdays are still qualifying but they have nothing on the weekend. Doubt Mitchelstown would be qualifying.....too wet on the new part of the course!

    Played in the open comp in Mallow today and it was preferred lies on the fairways only, so fully counting, tbh the course was in excellent condition and didn't really need preferred lies at all IMO.

    Surprise with that...played Mallow a good bit this year and found it pretty soft in lots of places.

    Anyone find an open qualifying competition for the weekend, particularly Sunday? :)

    Mitchelstown looks like the only option but as said already, I doubt its qualifying.
