    Hi all

Ready to go out the door this morning for my daily cycle into work only to find I had a puncture! Ended up driving:mad:

Anyway, I think the valve is gone in the tube so I need to buy a new tube my only problem is that I'm unsure what tube I need.

The tyres are Vittoria Zaffiro with R500 Alex Rims, the bike is the Felt z100

    Your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Andy

The tube fitted will have a size stamped on it, similar to the tyre ie 700x23. The 700 is the wheel diameter and the 23 is the width. Most road bikes would have 700 wheels but the width may vary, 23 is quite skinny for instance

    Thanks Trigger

Problem is I'm in work and the bike is at home, so I don't know what it says on the tube.

I wanted to buy a new tube during my lunch hour.

Got some more info on the tyre:

    23/622 700x23c

Does that give you a better idea?

    Thanks

    Andy

Just go into a shop and ask for a 700 x 23C and if the rim is deep section ask for one with a longer presta valve. Don't worry about branding, a tube is a tube
