    Hello there.
I have an accord with a few door dings on it which really take from the look of the car.
Do insurance companies allow a claim to get a dent repairer in to do the job?
I've checked my policy and it shows nothing about that.
    Thanks.

I suppose they would, but it all depends on the damage done to the door. Given your excess is probably €300 and PDR wouldn't generally cost this much, there's no point in claiming, is there?

Even if the PDR was €500 worth of effort, the ins company would pay out €200 and you'd be expected to pay the other €300. As such you'd lost any NCB, etc for the sake of €200?

PDR is not that expensive. I'd rather pay for it myself than risk my NCB.

Plus if you were claiming on an accident repair you would have to state when and where it happened, how it happened etc. I can't see them approving payment for something that is unfortunately akin to wear and tear in this country the way people treat other cars in car parks.

    Points taken.
I'd say between the 4 doors I have about 10 dings.
How much would that cost. There small ones but I hate the look of them.
