I was wondering what you guys think, would be a good laptop in the price range 600-800 euro. I guess media being a major focus. But not the be all and end all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by media?

Watching videos? Youtube? and listening to music etc?

    Or something else?

Sorry should have been more clear, yeah music and films. Also durability and not overheating would be nice. My last laptop a HP dv6 constantly overheated.

I'd go for something with an i5 chip. That will handle most media related things. A dedicated graphics card will be good for gaming if that's what you want .
Also if you are going to be downloading media I'd advise a largish ssd. All computers will come with windows 8 now aswell.
