Thinking of buying a new topper next year. looking at possibly one that will Top and mow meadow also. Wouldn't have a huge amount of work for it - probably do about 70 acres approx in the year. a new 9ft claas disco mower is about €8500
Kuhn is about €7500
+Vat

not sure on other makes

the disc mower can be easily used as a topper, extend the toplink so that the blades are spining parallel to the ground
