    Hi there,

I am thinking of taking a pitch this year doing a hot food stall. Does any other market trader have experience of this market, is it viable and roughly how much footfall is expected on a daily basis.

    Thanks a mill :)

Check out Dun Laoghaire's Winter festival as well http://www.visitdublin.com/event/Dun_Laoghaire_Christmas_Ice_Kingdom, maybe play them off against each other for rates. The 60metre ice slide sounds interesting!

We used to go to the Docklands one every year but stopped due to lack of funds. With a couple of kids, you don't see much change from a €100 at these things.

I can imagine Gloomtastic!! I'm looking for a bit more detail. What kind of a stall did you run and what were Raw Marketing like to deal with. Did you make any money. Sorry now for all the questions but need to know before I invest a few grand in this event!! Thanks a mill

Sorry OP I've never had a stand there. Just visited.

When we did go the food stalls were mainly bratwurst, noodles and sweet stalls. In fact if you've ever been to any event in the Docklands it seems to be the same food stalls at each one.

Visitors were erratic - sometimes busy, sometimes quiet. A lot of after-office socialising as well as couples with young families.
