I think I should post this here rather than in work&jobs forum, but if not feel free to move me :pac:

Fortunately like a very select lucky few in this country I managed to get myself a part time christmas job. Its retail 12 hours a week so nothing major :p
But I what I am confused on is the emergency tax. I started working about a week ago and only worked one day since for four hours. I understand having to fill out a 12a form since it is my first job and sending it off to the revenue. But what I am confused on is how they will emergency tax you, like how much will they take off you when you get paid and how long will this go on for and when can I get the money back?

    Any help appreciated :)
