    Google is your friend. :)

Look up any clubs or interest groups in your area and head along.

Look out at your local newspaper classifieds, supermarket noticeboards or pub events and head along.

There are heaps of date night/singles nights tho again, you'd need to see what was on in your area...not to mention on-line dating (good thread about it in The Gentleman's Club HERE.

Regardless of age, the trick to meeting people you click with is to have enough new people coming into your social circle that you increase the odds of happening upon someone you really click with. So it's usually down to finding out what on in your area that you would have an interest in doing and getting yourself out there.

    All the best.

There's a website called meetup.com. It has social groups in most cities in Ireland. The link is www.meetup.com/cities/ie to find out about groups in Ireland.
I joined recently and there is a good mix of men and women attending these groups.

Op the other suggestions are great - although it can be a bit daunting joining clubs and going to events by yourself - believe me I know!

Have you tried any of these at all? Online dating, clubs etc?
