Does anybody know if they do olympic weightlifting coaching in the gym. I haven't been to the TCD gym in a while but when I was there I remember seeing one of the instructors (the solid looking bald bloke) giving snatch and jerk coaching to one of the members with a PVC pipe. Anyone know what the story with this is, i.e. what does it cost?

That's Pete, I've no idea how you arrange a coaching session though.

Have you done much lifting before?

Just go in the sports centre any day and ask if Pete's there.

Have a little chat with him, explain that you're interested in Oly Lifting. He'd probably be happy to give you some coaching.
