    Hi all.

I need to use 3G services for 1 or 2 months in the dublin area. Estimated usage wil be between 4 and 7GB per month and I don't have a dongle yet.

What would be the cheapest provider for these 2 months?

I looked at 3 but it is confusing
Dongle is 20 euro, but then I have to pay for a surfkit that gives me 6Gb for 50 euro?? but the top prices seem cheaper. Plain weird

02 seems 20 euro for a modem and 20 euro for 5Gb per month but if i buy 2 months I get the modem free. This looks ok actually. But i can't find anywhere how expensive it is to topup for 1 month

Meteor seems to have a 29 euro dongle + 20 euro for 7.5 Gb for 30 days. This looks ok too.

    Any suggestions, remarks?

Meteor tend to be quite reliable around Dublin. If you're happy enough with their data allowance, I'd go with them.

Just to note, if you're bothered handing over your details and getting the 20 questions treatment, buy your prepay dongle in an Xtra-vision or similar 3rd party retailer. You won't be harassed then..

We were a bit in a hury and as it happens we chose Meteor. 7.5 Gb for 20 euro + 30 modem

What can I say, never used 3G before but those websites sure are fuzzy :)

    Happy with meteor sofar
