Mixed Bag Competition - Entries Closed

Next comp suggestion per Triggers earlier one - mixed bag - but with a twist. How about a listing of all target species & who can complete the list or the most of it by end of season.
Only edible & vermin species say to keep it sporting.
If a mod could manage a spreadsheet twud be very visual...
To add a species must be photo with a date stamp.
All wannabe contestants must sign up by Friday lunchtime to keep it manageable.

I am up for it anyway.

The list should be made up of birds/vermin that most, if not everyone, can get.

I think instead of just going out and having to get one of each we should set an amount needed to complete that species

Species | Quota
Pheasant | 2
Snipe | 3
Woodcock | 2
Wood Pigeon | 5
Duck (any breed) | 3
Fox | 2
Grey Crows | 3
Etc | Etc


I will make up the tables for the quota's needed and what people have gotten so far.

Ye can decide on the number needed for each species, when entries need to be in by, etc

I'm in ! U should have to put a a4 sheet with date and name beside your quarry !

And I think it fair to exclude deer .

Open it up to any game listed by npws . And male and females where different sex are clearly visible .

I'm going to purpose that we need the following numbers to complete the competition.

It should be a challenge for everyone to complete it. We will have 2 and a half months to complete it so lets make it fairly difficult

My proposal:

Species|Required Amount| Reason
Pheasant|2|Scarce in places
Duck|5|Seem plentiful enough and all species are included
Snipe|10|Fun to shoot and many around
Woodcock|2|
Wood Pigeon|15|Plentiful
Fox|5|Help birds for next year
Crow|15|Plentiful
Magpie|8|Plentiful
Grey Crow|5|Numbers need to be reduced as low as possible
Grey Squirrel|2|
Mink|3|Numbers need to be reduced. May increase to 5
Rabbit| 10| Common

Here is a starting point. Decide if you want to increase or decrease certain ones.

The finished quota will be placed up Friday so you can start to fill in the list this weekend.

There hasn't been a prize discussed yet tbh.
Has anyone any ideas?

I'm in the same boat as yourself with only being able to hunt pheasant at the weekends but I will make the most out of the 8-10 weekends to try get pheasants.
All this is is a bit of fun.
