Gap between front of grate and front of fire place!!

    I need to replace grate on open fire place! I have a problem with gap between front of grate and front of fire place! Because back boiler over grate and space not much space for coal etc! Both grate and fire place front curved! All suggestions appreciated! ;)

    You just need to get a curved grate to suit backboiler more than likely a Gercross grate.Should be available in any builders merchants or good hardware store

    Or you could get a fire guard that sits onto the existing grate. Bring your photo to a good hardware shop

    14 euro for one for a 14 inch curved fire grate in Grange Builders Providers.16 euro for a 16 inch grate

    Woodies also have them,but it will cost you more.

    Its looks fro. The pic like you have the proper grate for your back boiler.

    Other posters saying...get a grate from Woodies etc...are wrong in this case.
    Ordinary grate won't fit your back boiler.

    Its really a case of getting a new forefront that sits in front of the grate...yours is a more modern type.
    The ones that site in front of a back boiler grate are different.
