No sky channel after Saorview retune?

    Have magic eye in bedroom to watch Sky, it's a Walker with in built Saorview.Have a 2 into 1 Y adaptor with Sky aerial&regular aerial feeding into it so the wife can watch other stuff when I'm watching Sky.Tuned in the bedroom tv for saorview last week and saved the sky channel as 100.Was told i had to rescan as i get signal from clermont carn.Rescanned but now i can't find what channel Sky is on, it's disappeared.Tried channel 100 but it goes to 84 bbc parliament! Any advice?

    Did you

    1. Make sure that the Sky box was switched on while you were rescanning.
    2. Make sure to scan both Analogue and Digital

    Sky box defo on while scanning.I scanned it last week just for Analogue and the sky channel still came through but I'll try your suggestion now, thanks

    No joy.It was working fine today on channel 100 until i did that fecking rescan.Now I've lost the sky feed.Any other ideas?

    Could it just be on another number instead of 100?

    I would do an analogue only scan to make sure the Sky signal is still coming through.

    Tried all the other channels but there doesn't seem to be any free,maybe 301 or 302.I'll try analogue only scan in the morning, thanks.

    Scanned analogue only and found sky feed on 901 T na G, thanks Mark!
    One more quick question you might know-my saorview tv in kitchen gets all the uk freeview but tv in bedroom only gets bbc 1,2,3,4.Is there any way to improve the signal in tv in bedroom to receive more channels? I'm guessing the length the cable has to travel to the bedroom affects signal/reception?

    I had the same problem for my parents house yesterday, had to do both an analogue and digital scan,found the sky schannel eventually for them.

    Now the sky remote wont work with the skybox, have tried all the tricks and tips from various forums, still no joy, driving me insane it is:mad:
    The buttons on the skybox are fine and work , just the remote wont.
    The remote was working fine before i done a rescan to pull through all the new digital channels for them.
