    Title says it all;

    Anyone know where I could get some duck, I know Superquinn and Ardkeen do it but it is fairly dear.

    Any butchers do it?

    Try Billy Burke's on Ballybricken

    I've seen it in Bobby's Butchers in Ballytruckle before, although I'm not sure if he has it regularly.

    Think kielys in tesco lisduggan do them but you may have to ask them to get them in for you.

    Got a duck there last week from Tescos Lisduggan.

    It came with some sort of chinese sauce and pancakes. It was around €12 but got it for €4. It had to be eaten on the same day I purchased it.

    Absolutely delicious.

    I got duck breasts in Lidl a while back. I found them a bit bland tastewise, but as I say it was a while ago, so it's probably worth a look

    I bought one in Dunnes awhile back, can't remember the taste as I was pickled by the time I'd cooked it.

    Tramore butcher opposite the church on the corner by xtravision always has duck breasts - really tasty too!

    The ones in Lidl are good now, they have a few different ranges of quality too, theres some german brand ones i know the brand name and its a good quality one, Duck can be bland anyway, and if you cook it in an your oven put it raised on a tray cos theres lOADSA fat that comes off it in cooking!

    I used to order my meat online from him and delivery was free if over €100 but whenever I was in his shop I found it took time to decide what I wanted as the choice was extensive. I haven't seen anything here that has the same range. I only found out about him on Rick Stein's show when he came to Ireland.

    Found him online and wanted to order for a while but never got round to it..went to Clonmel on Saturday and its an Aladdin's cave with some great deals..there was stuff in the shop not on the website thats even nicer..2 rolled lamb shoulders at €8 and crubeens 4 for €3..amazing value....3 veal chops €13..but the odd one was 3 rib eyes for €13...it was striploin that was packaged!!!

    But honestly i wil go back for sure
