snipe record for me!!

went out yesterday after a poor first day , had it in my head that i was going to give the snipe a good go! so myself brazzil and 2 others croosed a bog . the german wirey hair pointer that i aquired from alchemist locked on and sure enough two snipe broke and two came down first double of the day. then walked on and brazzils springer bitch was winding something and up got 2 more and two more came down second double! she made a brilliant job of retrieving both to hand. then gave the dogs a break and we walked another big rushy field and shot the rest singlely.beat my previous best by one and all were shot with 30 gr 7s .have to say concentration is key with the snipe ......and a good shot!!:D:D

when i had my first german he used to love hunting them on the way back to the car hence why i love shooting them all i need now is a good reciepe. 4 month old springer loves retrieving them at least !!

Well done charlie10, out with my gwp bitch all day putting up snipe on the bogs. Doeas you gwp not retrieve ?, They are fast little buggers alright

he did retrieve the ones i shot over him he was hunting across the four guns and
the springer retrieved her ones as he was over the side hunting at that stage . fair interesting shooting one double over a pointer and another double over a springer within the space of ten mins.:):)
