I write songs on acoustic and thats as far as I can take them really . I need a good musician in north dublin to give my songs a sound. Ive pretty much no experience no gear just me an guitar . I have a good few songs but they are only at chords and lyrics level . I need abit of help i think .

Might I suggest finding a band to jam with? Baring in mind that this is a 'classifieds' kind of board, the reason why you're not getting responses could be that your thread title doesn't get straight to the point as a classified should - perhaps a title along the lines of 'North Dublin Vocalist / Guitarist seeks Band or Jam Partner' would draw quicker attention? Proactivity is key in my opinion on this board, you're more likely to have success replying to posts than waiting for a reply to your own. If someone else is motivated enough to post, you at least know they're someway serious in intent.

Yeah I just wanted to keep it a bit loose man. Alot of the adds Ive found are a bit too serious . Its music .
I dont wanna scare people into not getting onboard . I reckon there is alot of decent musicians out there ready to take a step up to band level but just feel a bit intimidated by the seriousness of the ads .
What do you think of the song anyways?
I have others . That just had bass and drums on it so i posted it .

I couldn't get it to play to be honest. Might be my technophobia though.

Like I said, it's a classifieds board, clear and to the point shouldn't be scary. If someone is looking here then there's a reason. If in doubt ya could always post a picture of a cuddly bear or something to soften the impact.....

I like that idea if this ad doesnt work out ill try one saying songwriter with limited vocals needs band for friendship and maybe more .
