pheastant stuffing

    hi it was my third season yesterday and shot my first pheasant (not many in my area and gunclub didnt release any with last few year but we are this year) how much would it cost to stuff him and can ye recommend anyone in the cork or kerry area. i took one shot and saw him drop on the other side of the ditch where my father and my cocker was i taught i killed him but the c**t ran away but the dog got him in some cover but gave him to my father instead of me.

    Hi well done on getting your first bird i got quoted 160 euros for a pheasant this evening in co wexford

    Which lad in Kerry did you get in contact with. I have a number for a guy in north Kerry if you want it. Well done by the way on your first birdy!

    I got a bird mounted by a fella in Listowel last season, sound chap and work is top notch. €120 I paid as the bird was in a bad way when I gave it to him.
    Ill mail you his details.

    ya i rang him today and he said 120 for it done normal or if i want the bird flying it is 150. i also rang a lad in killarney who is 120 for it done normal and 140 for it flying and the lad in cork didnt answer the phone.

    any one ever use Pinewood Taxidermy in Killarney before as they are the closest for me

    kurt Ecker i think your on about seen a lot of his work it's top class you could be waiting a while for it but it will be worth it.

    I have a flying pheasant mounted & am quite pleased with it.

    I think a lot depends on where you intend to display the finished mount......a flying pheasant take up a good bit of space.

    i have decieded that i wont get the pheasant stuffed as after i looked at him again he aint nothing great so i will get one done sometime hopefully by the end of the season but not this one as i want one that has a longer tail and maybe a bit bigger. but one thing i know now is that who i will be going to the kurt fella in killarney.
