Sorry if the title is a bit confusing but what im looking for is a M4/M16 receiver with a short stock tube(the tube the stock fits onto just to be clear) and was wondering if anyone knew any irish retail sites that have them iv done some searching but came up blank but i might have missed a site or two. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those stock(buffer) tubes are removable there is no need for a receiver unless you completely damaged the lot, in which case knowing the brand of the aeg would help you in your search.

Why do you need one if you don't mind me asking?.

    Hey

You could always cut your original one!
If you are building an M4 pistol, it only needs to be about 3 mm.
Just enough too fit an end plate on.

if you are making a m4 pistol, and if you don't fancey cutting the stock spur any further you can stick on your end plate and bolt on a washer, larger than the diameter of the spur and using chemical metal fill the gap between the washer and end plate, kinda like this,

the reason im asking is that i have classic army army cr16 I believe is the original name which i am messing about with getting used to with upgrades and the likes but i bought a magpull UBR stock which only fits short type buffer tubes but the receiver is a long type but i also wanted to get a metal body anyway hence why i asked. I hope this clears things up

You could always approach one of the Irish retailers are ask them to import it for you.

i wasnt buildinga M4 pistol i just needed a short style buffer tube to fit a stock i bought. Now that thats cleared up I havnt got a different stock yet but im probably importing one soon , but if you're looking to change the receiver anyway i wouldnt cut it because you may want that in the future.
