Can this Canon lens be repaired?

I dropped this lens and the thin besel with small screws that probably holds the lens in it outer case is broken.

It is a very cheap lens that came with the camera so not willing to spend much to fix.

Is this a part I can order and attempt to fix myself? The rest of the lens is ok and it does work if I keep pressure on it pulling it towards the camera body when taking pictures.

The lens is a basic Canon Zoom EFS 18-55mm

Attached is a picture of the damage.

    Thanks!

Repair would probably cost similar to replacing the lens.

Send a pm to Zerohamster. He has fixed a number of items for me and is a regular here on boards. Sound to deal with.

Mind you will pick up one of them lens for less than €80
