Looking for good GP Dublin Northside

I am looking for a GP on Dublins northside. I have been attending the same GP practice for 30 years but it is gone so big now getting an appointment is a nightmare and the reception staff treat you like a nuisance. Final straw today when I was phoned for blood test results that should have been posted to me to take to my Oncologist next week. I was told they only send letters out if the patient sends in a stamped addressed envelope. After an argument they are sending them out but thats not the way to treat patients. So basically I am looking for a professional, kind, GP practise who treats their patients with respect and dignity and not as a nusiance. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated

I've been to Fairview Medical Centre a good few times, always found them to be very good and professional.

Thank you. I have looked at website for the doctor in Portmarnock but I live outside his catchment area.

What part of Northside are you? It's a big area.

I went to Castlemill Medical centre in Balbriggan a few times when I was living in the area and would definitely stay clear of them, the highlight of my experience being told that I was the "worst case patient" he'd seen that day!
Since moving house I go to Oakwood in Caslteknock (it's more west than north side though) and have they say they are great, I've to go every few months for a condition, you're hardly ever waiting and the doc I deal with is brilliant.

Beaumont/Whitehall/Drumcondra area. I dont mind travelling a small bit but not too far. There doesn't seem to be any way of checking GP's out apart from word of mouth. Thanks

If you head down to the IFSC I'd recommend Dr Peter Killeen in Custom House medical centre

Excellent at his job and a sound guy also.

It's right on the Luas line

53 euro a visit, fairly standard price I think

It's a large practice, the rest of them are good, I just dealt with Dr Kileen the most
