    The fan heater in my car is broken, is this expensive to fix

    Could be. Is it the motor (blower) that's given up, or just there's no engine heat getting into the heater rad?

    What sort of car is it?

    It's a ford focus , it's the fan heater inside the car that's not working

    If it's the fan itself it could be the wires or the fuse. Start by checking the fuse.

    Does it work on any speed 1 to 4? If it works on one of them (usually 4) but not the others it could be the resistor. If its not working at all start simple and check fuses and wiring 1st.

    They need replacing, I got one for my car on ebay for €22 second hand and fitted it myself.

    Sorry, No, am an ex FORD employee....Price one from the dealer, sometimes the genuine stuff is in expensive....
