I put the nexus 4 link to flubit and they haven't gotten back to me yet.
    It's been 48 hours!
Should I just sit tight and wait?
Has this happened to anyone before regarding the nexus 4?

It happened to me on another demand, it's not necessarily the item, sometimes demands can get lost or time creeps up on them too fast. You should contact them, Facebook is usually the best place for these types of issues. If the demand is lost, they'll probably tell you to re-demand it but they'll likely also tell you that they'll get it through the system quickly so you won't have to wait as long.

In the meantime, check the post I made on the previous page (link below) in relation to taking the links from the Flubit sticky and pasting them into your demand. Some people are copying them the wrong way and it has caused issues but what normally happens is they get back to you before the 48 hours are up and say there's no product found due to the invalid URL that some people have copied.

€12.50 seems pretty steep for delivery though.

Standard shipping price for Ibood stuff really. total price still works out 50 Euro cheaper than what I paid for mine. Delivery is the 5th july.

Lol I almost feel like buying another one at this price! or at least telling everyone I know to get it! (~kinda love the N4! Something about once you go stock android, you just 'Get it' and don't want to ever go back to bloated and slowing added on crapware!)

Lol was on my way there to do just that when I found it sold out. around 11 am. :(

Oh well I'm happy with this one!

But think of it, you ordered it using Flubit and by doing so pulled the wool over Google's eyes. Your device is MORE exclusive because of it, nearly as exclusive as ordering directly from Google. Using Flubit was only slightly cheating. Using iBood would be full-on cheating. :P

Take pride in your device.

quick question about the paypal side of things, i already have a paypal account registered to my home address (in dublin), do i need to set up a new paypal account to my PM address in belfast or can i get it sent to that address through my existing paypal account?
don't use paypal very often so i'm not too sure how it works..

Not at all, there's no need to set up a new account. When you go to make a purchase, simply add an address to your existing ones in the drop-down menu after you log in. Put in your PM details in there and that's all there is to it!

You do need to do it when you're making a purchase, as for some reason, doing it using the main website won't allow you to select a different country other than Ireland.

Credit card statement updated this morning. 379e and paypal (using their currency exchange) would have been 389 so that's as good as free shipping : )

Well that took it's time, especially going through Dublin etc. Maybe I should order one from somewhere else.

Is there any other reason why you should order using the flubit method other than it being slightly cheaper?

If you order it straight from google chances are your order will be cancelled and worst case scenario ie what happened to me - your google account will be locked down and they'll blacklist your credit/debit cards. It was incredibly difficult to get that sorted.

Hmm, I was going to order from ebay, there seems to be a good few UK sellers selling them for around 360 mark. I assume the warranty is still good over here if I got a Nexus 4 from the UK?

That's brutal what happened to you. I say it was hard to buy apps etc.

Literally couldn't do anything with google wallet or the play store, took an awful lot of emails to get it sorted. As far as I know as well the warranty won't be passed to you as google will consider the phone second hand as it'd be bought using the ebay sellers credit card. Flubit is by far the best to go with, any warranty issues go to them and as they are a business they legally have to sort it out for you. I've seen people send their phones back to flubit because of small problems and they sorted them no problem.

No one likes to wait but stick with flubit, its gonna take a while no matter what way you buy it. If you could buy it in shops here we'd all be at it ; )

It happens from time to time. Contact them on Facebook and they'll help you. It might be that the demand got lost in the system and they might ask you to re-demand and provide them with the new ID, so they can expedite it for you. It looks like you already have re-demanded, so maybe that will come good. You should let them know on Facebook either way.

Just to let people know time scale I got an email to say my nexus 10 has been dispatched and says will arrive on July 1st.

If it shipped today then it should "check in" to PM NI by Friday morning or afternoon and since you're in Dublin, it should be with you by Friday night. Now that's all assuming everything is running as normal.

I wouldn't worry about Flubit's estimated dates, even their final estimations upon shipping are always a working day or more longer in my experience, and I've used Flubit three times since my Nexus order (and twice for my Nexus order since my first one was defective, so a replacement was shipped in the same manner). So I've used them a total of five times and it's always been the same.

Of course, i picked the tablet up late last night, of course i couldn't wait and opened it up and excitedly booted it up etc.

    NOW

My question to people on this thread....

If you turned on your brand spanking new Nexus 10 and after the original splash screen, where it would normally prompt you to enter your Google credentials, there sat someone elses email address and prompting me for a password. >:(

SO, i hit the 'that's not me' button and signed into my own google account, mainly to email the email address that was there to see if they had returned a nexus 10 and for what reason.

I've emailed Flubit off first thing. It kinda took the shine off the aul 'turning it on for the first time' gig.

What would any of you guys do?

Would you be looking for a straight 'il have a new one replacement please' or would you think 'sure there's nothing wrong with this one'

Tags and sticker seals were in place and there's the plastic over the device.

    Thanks
