Hi, I play guitar and harmonica and I am looking for like minded acoustic musicians who would like to meet up every couple of weeks or so for a good auld jam.Nothing too serious, just a relaxed session where anyone can play a song and everyone joins in. I'm thinking guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin players, anything really!…

Hi,
I play guitar and harmonica and I am looking for like minded acoustic musicians who would like to meet up every couple of weeks or so for a good auld jam.Nothing too serious, just a relaxed session where anyone can play a song and everyone joins in. I'm thinking guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin players, anything really! and the more the merrier!
I love playing all sorts of genres from the blues to a bit of folk, trad etc.I have a varied taste in music from Blind Boy Fuller, Neil Young, Dylan, Clapton to Crowded House. I wouldn't rule anything out.
I know a place to jam for a reasonable price if enough people are interested.

Hi, Its a proper recording/rehearsal studios called Camelot studios just beside Tyrrelstown.They charge 50 euro for 4 hours and have all the amps, PA's etc. Its a fine place!

I'm in Tyrrelstown myself.Sounds good but I don't even own an electric guitar never mind play one(properly that is). Cheers but it's an acoustic jam that I'm really after.

Any night would suit me, I work shifts so I can make it every 2 out of 3 weeks.

The session in Clonee sounds good.Is it only ballads that they play?

No they do some Neil Young, Dylan, Eagles.. etc.. Basically all the folky kinda stuff and some ballads too
