More Argos Bargains

Thought i would open up this thread for once off or limited bargains in Argos,something similar to the Tesco one so maybe if people see specific in-store clearance items they can add them here.
Stirling Silver Charm Bracelet ex catalogue (224/3717) Pavilions Swords (1 left) reduced from €130 to €30 in instore clearance menu,also had one of the 42" lg tv's €379,not sure which one

that checkargos thing isnt working at all for me. put in min price of 1 and max price of 1000 and nothing coming up in any of the stores....

There is a bug if it there is too many products coming back. Could you try narrowing your search?

1 to 100 and a separate search 100 to 1000 maybe (might need to be narrower)

EDIT:
Actually this is a separate thing, that "all sections" (sorry, terribly named, its on my todo list) only was working when they had a specific clearance section for each store.

If you select a specific section "Toys and Games" it should work once too many dont get returned

EDIT EDIT: This looks to be broken, I will have a look this evening if I get a chance

It doesn't seem to return results for anything, tried various different permutations, e.g. 100 to 1000, 100 to 200, 10 to 50 and a few different stores.
It could be that there is nothing matching though?

Still doesn't work, it looks like it's fetching something but when it redisplays nothing shows up, tried various different values with various different shops and categories but nothing showed up for any of them.

Don't know if this helps or even if its relevant but the clearance section on the Argos website appears not to be working either!

Its very relevant Thanks.

Basically the way the site works is it goes to the webpage on argos.ie for the different sections and parses the items from there. If there is no items in those sections on argos, it will not work.

It didnt seem to have any items in the sections i looked in

I kinda thought that's the way it worked but wasn't sure! I wonder are they not putting clearance items on website to avoid people from reserving things and not collecting or is it just a glitch on website? Be interesting to see.

Doubt it because you can still reserve items over the phone using their automated stock checker.

In store or check forums like this. More than likely then you'll find the item in the old catalogue, and you can use that catalogue no. then to check stock and reserve it over the phone.

In my case 3 items I collected over last few days the transaction showed in the account next day after I reserved/collected, I collect them same day as reserve them.

Strange is 1st day they had 30cent listed on the website and got 25cent back now it say 25cent I got 30cent credited

Bought this in Boots yesterday at €27.99 thinking was good deal .Went online to check reviews & found Argos selling for €12.90 .Big difference so got refund in Boots & bought in Argos .Girl said loads of hair care reduced online .
