Hi Guys, hope you can help. We recently got some work done in the house and all of the radiators downstairs were removed, we had to get walls replastered. The radiators are all back on now but are not heating up when we turn the heating on. We have checked that they are turned on etc but no joy, they have also been bled but no air coming out, just water. Any ideas? Its a bit cold to not have any heating at the moment :)

If your system is pressurised, you will need to turn on the filling valve to build up the pressure. Bring it to just over a bar and fill the downstairs rads first and then the upstairs, re-pressurising as you go along.

If it is open vented, you may have an air lock in the system.

Thanks for that. It is pressurised I think. Will try that.
