dogcollar or not ?

    Hi folks, I have a dog collar on my gundog at all times with a name and contact number.I leave it on when I'm out shooting.
    Do other people do the same ?

    Ya. I've fairly strong leather collars on em which are hard to take off.
    Also have an electric collar on em.
    Never a bother in cover or anything like that...

    I have a collar with contact number on it for day to day but i always take it off when we go hunting just incase it got caught on something when she going through heavy cover!

    Oh man, the miserable cu*t! I'd be fuming. But isn't that what the NARGC insurance is for??

    At 16 it was a German Shepard and I didn own a gun or insurance , I do now but I still wouldn give a C like that the chance like that again . I swear he hit him on purpose

    not being smart, but thats a ****ty reason, what would you do if your dog got hit by a car in the morning? just let him there and say nothing? fair enough you couldnt afford insurance a few years ago but what about the poor sod that hits your dog in the future and cant afford the repairs

    No my insurance is there for that reason and my dogs don't be out with out me so there is no need for collar or name tag . I'm just giving my reason for why I never done it again .

    And I'm sure a lot would not take responsibility if the bill was a couple of grand .
