    Hi guys
    So here's the story ...
Early 30s, female, executive job, moving to Dublin from a much bigger city ...
Not looking for Prince Charming by any means but - generally speaking, and honestly (please), what's the craic really like ? I mean, the picture's all so doom and gloom, but beyond the financial reality ... ? ... I was in Dublin a few weeks ago and felt a kind of energy ...
Would be more than grateful for your spontaneous feedback on the young professionals social scene !

Cheers, and have a lovely evening

    x

The minute you hit Dublin the first thing you should do is get a taxi and emigrate to austrailia, seems to be the in thing.

    EYP Dublin are very pretentious

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It might be easier to give a contrast if we knew where you were coming from?

Being a "professional" i'm guessing London or somewhere exotic like that.

I've heard that they have fancy phones you can walk around with while your talking and you don't have to stay within 30 meters of the base, and decking city living needs decking

Just so happens I'm on the lookout for a woman to keep me warm for the winter as I cant afford to pay the gas bill.

You'd have to feed and clothe me and drive me around but I make a grand cup a tea.

They are an organisation called European Young Professionals

Tut Everyone nowadays has some sort of title,i'm guessing an "EYP" is one of those you see flying around in a mini with big sunglasses on working as a receptionist somewhere.

Here i am with my M.Eng and job,I don't stroll around calling myself a "professional".
