I finish work at 6, have my dinner at around 7, then go to the gym for around 8 and finish at around half nine. Should I eat before the gym or after? I don't feel particularly hungry around that time but I have a biggest dinner because I feel I need fuel before I work out.

Eat whenever you want ,I personally feel sick working out with a full stomach so i only have something small after work before the gym and fill up afterwards with some tuna and mixed beans and veg.

It's good to have something in the tank before going into the gym , something that wont sit in your stomach for ages and is digested quickly, soup or yoghurt and fruit..If you can handle a big dinner before the gym go for it , just don't double down and have another feast afterwards!

Eat whenever you want. Eat all your calories in 1 meal or 6 meals. Eat whatever fits you and your macros.

Personally I eat a handful of nuts and an apple pre workout.

I, also, cant eat before running or working out.

Food, especially a large heavy meal, takes hours to be digested, so eating a huge dinner an hour before
a workout is not really fuelling your workout as most of it will will be in your stomach or intenstine when you are exercising.

If you are eating healthy foods, are not putting on weight, and dont get a sick stomach or cramps while working out then it is working for you. If not, then change what you eat.

I do occasionally have stomach cramps, but only if I've ate too much. I find I eat smaller dinners now as I don't want to be too full going to the gym. And I'm never hungry afterwards. So in terms of losing weight its definately working as it cuts out all of the afternoon snacking I'd normally indulge in.
