    what is the best one?
That's difficult to answer without knowing your preferences. My idea of a good early house is one devoid of music, loud young lads or people ending off a night out.

Well certainly wouldnt be looking for one full of people ending a night out as well be sober after finishing a twelve hour shift, music I could take or leave all depends on they type of music being played ;), am I right in thinking most open at 8 a.m? It will be a mid week day aswell.

7am used to be the norm. I liked The White Horse years ago before they gentrified it for the beautiful people.

The Galway Hooker in Heuston Station is probably one of the better ones.

The Wind Jammer, Townsend Street, is open around 7-7.30am. Usually just 4 or 5 old men sitting in the bar when I walk past.

    neds on townsend street

Regans back in the 90s, remember looking in the window as I sat in traffic at 7.45am and there were cheers from the pub as they watched a porno.

There's another one at the corner of Green Street and Little Britain Street but it's name escapes me now. It used to be open early when I did a bit of work delivering in the fruit and veg market years ago. I presume it's still an early house.

    Yup that's the one. Thanks.

(I think it had a different name a few years back?)

Very possibly. It has been the Caple for 6 or more years though I think.
