Hiding SKY Box but still using remote

My 1.5 year old son won't leave the SKY box alone so I need to close it behind a door we have in our TV cabinet. This is a pain when I want to change channels. Are there any products out there that will help me - I just need to be able to change channels when I don't have line of sight to the box?

get a magic eye, plugs into rf2 of the sky box, then a short lead has the transmitter eye, stick it in a safe place and voila.

You can get remotes that work through doors. I think they are called RF remotes

Get some perspex & cut it to size then attach it to the tv cabinet, remote works & the kid can't get at the skybox.

make sure there is some ventilation at the back so it won't overheat
